The Holts Summit Police Department is a part of the D.A.R.E. program for North Elementary School and Callaway Hills Elementary School. The Holts Summit Police Department is in joint efforts with the Jefferson City Police Department D.A.R.E. program.

The Holts Summit Police Department has one full-time certified D.A.R.E. instructor, Detective Nikki Barnard, teaching the core Elementary program. Detective Barnard is the school resource officer for both North Elementary School and Callaway Hills Elementary School. The programs being taught are one's that are law related and safety focused in relation to the learning goals of each school.

The Holts Summit Police Department D.A.R.E. program is grateful to the following organization(s) that gave a donation to the D.A.R.E. program. This donation was to help the 5th grade students, from both schools, receive a D.A.R.E. t-shirt.
